Rachel is a therapist in training pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. She is passionate about working with children, teens and couples to strengthen the family system, overcome traumatic experiences, and to help individuals cope and adjust to the difficulties they are facing. Rachel is especially interested in helping those struggling with anxiety, PTSD, relationship/family trauma, domestic violence, depression, anger, grief/loss, low self esteem, and difficult life changes/transitions. Rachel enjoys supporting couples throughout various phases of their relationship, including adjusting to living together, preparing for marriage, adjusting to having children, reconnecting after years of distancing, repairing from relational betrayals/losses, and navigating separation/divorce. Rachel also supports children who are experiencing parental separation/divorce and/or parental alienation. Rachel uses a strength based, non-judgmental approach to foster a safe therapeutic relationship. She empowers healing by attuning to both the mind and the body, as she takes a holistic approach to mental health.
