About Us
At Family Solutions and Wellness Center, PLLC, we have a team of Marriage & Family Therapists (MFTs) and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) who work with individuals, couples and families in order to help you work towards the changes you are hoping to see in order to live happier and more fulfilled lives.
Our symbol of a lotus flower reflects our beliefs on the world and therefore how we deliver therapy. The lotus flower emerges from mud and murky waters with cleanliness and beauty. We believe that life inevitably produces mud and murky waters, and that we all have the ability to push through, over come, and/or bloom with beauty and strength. We believe therapy is a helpful support in this process. The blue lotus flower specifically relates to ones happiness, well-being, and “victory of the spirit”. No matter what struggles you have or are currently experiencing, we hope to use our training and specialty to help you find and embrace a sense of hope, peace, and happiness.

Laura Bishop
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate
I look forward to getting to know you and working collaboratively with you to enact positive changes in your life. As a team, we will work on understanding and altering dysfunctional moods, behaviors, patterns of thinking, and interactions with others. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families surrounding issues such as anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, communication, coping skills, grief/loss, substance abuse, separation/divorce, low self-worth, work stress, parenting struggles, high-conflict relationships, overcoming past trauma, and life transitions and adjustments. I have a specialized interest in couples counseling and enjoy assisting clients with saving or strengthening their relationships. By providing a supportive environment that is free of judgment and full of hope, I empower my clients to gain clarity and insight, to effectively manage difficult emotions and challenging situations, and to accomplish their goals and feel good again.

I work with individuals and couples impacted by trauma, abuse, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and intimacy/sexual concerns. I further support couples and families surrounding transitions such as becoming new parents, blending families, and “coming out.” My work with couples includes addressing trust and communication issues, providing premarital counseling, repairing after infidelity, and reconnecting. I work with teens and young adults, ages 15 years old and above, surrounding issues such as stress, anger, anxiety, relationship choices, bullying/peer pressure, sexuality concerns, conflict with parents or other family members, and life transitions such as college choices/adjustment.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults in the areas of anxiety, work/life/school stress, life changes, communication and social skills, transitions to high school and college, relationship issues, separation and divorce concerns, domestic violence, non-suicidal self-injury, eating disorders, and bereavement. I am passionate about helping individuals address the struggles they are facing, while maximizing the strengths they have. When appropriate, I use family therapy and can collaborate with other professionals in order to provide the most helpful level of care.

Claire Webb
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate
I believe that everyone is a “work in progress” learning how to navigate the challenges of life in the best way they can. I compassionately guide clients through these challenges by empowering them to utilize their own strengths and identify emotions in a way that allows them to be better connected to self and others. I have experience with individuals, couples, and family systems and use the emotionally focused therapy model to help clients identify emotional or relational challenges and change negative cycles in their lives. I have a year of experience in crisis intervention and helping those with suicidal ideations and past attempts in addition to advocating for victims of sexual assault. I am also passionate about helping those who are experiencing a “crisis of faith” or facing spiritual struggles. My experience with certain problem areas include: anxiety, depression, low self esteem, relationship conflict/communication problems, couples impacted by PTSD, history of domestic violence and its impact on romantic relationships, separation anxiety in adolescents, helping families with a member on the autism spectrum, and helping clients through life transitions (e.g., breakups, going to college, new job, etc.). My hope for all of my clients is to help them achieve a healthier relationship with themselves and others in order to help them live life to the fullest.

Erin Ballard
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I support individuals and couples in their desire to resolve destructive relationship cycles of interaction and communication that produce distress, while strengthening the foundation by which individuals find love, support, connection and safety. Should couples decide separation/divorce is the best route, I help couples and their children navigate and cope with this family transition. I also support adults in coping with stress, adjusting to change, improving self worth, and increasing happiness with self, others and life.
I additionally provide supervision to Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (LCMHCs) who are working towards full licensure or for those licensed therapists seeking additional supervision.
